Or did Hugh and Stephen play up Bertie and Jeeves with as much of the slashy subtext as they could?  I mean, given that Stephen grew up reading the stories, and he's gay, it seems quite possible to me that he read in the subtext himself, just as we do.  And then Hugh obviously doesn't mind flirting with him in the name of comedy, as ABOFAL proved time and time again. 

Or are you all going to hit me over the head and yell, "DUH!" ?
