Would you trust Bertie to dress you up?

I found this quite by accident and I'm sure some of you have done so as well, but for those who haven't:

Bertie Wooster: Specialising In The Finest Mens Vintage Savile Row Clothing

Incredible!

In response to your title line

Love the site! Cool! However...

Would you trust Bertie to dress you up?

Since I am not of the male persuasion, I do now wonder how he'd dress a woman. Then again, I'd also wonder how he'd undress me which might be a challenge for him, although I'd thoroughly enjoy watching him make the attempt. ;)

Hehehe - also love your iharthdarth mood theme

Would I allow Bertie to dress me? Well, even if I were a man, I would hesitate to recieve sartorial advice from the gentelman without Jeeves to stay his hand.

Nice clothes but I wouldn't allow Bertie to dress me Psmith on the other hand...

That bertie seems to have a jeeves-esque style about him. I'd let him dress me in a heartbeat if i were of the male persuasion.

The Bertram Wilberforce Wooster that we have the honor of knowing can't dress his way out of a paper bag. I would have to decline, unless Jeeves was there, putting in his two cents worth. (which in jeeves money equals about a dollar fifty.)

I like the guy on the main page, waving the umbrella. He looks very Bertie-ish. ^_^

I don't know, I don't think Bertie on his own is so much a bad dresser as an easily impressionable one. He knows what a good suit is supposed to look and feel like, for example, he's just too prone to latch on to the latest shiny fad in headgear or ties. (Check out the red fez at the bottom of this photo (http://www.bertie-wooster.com/bespoke.html). Someone needs to fic him coming home to Jeeves wearing that.) Of course, that's partly to do with only frequenting the best tailors, who presumably have nigh-irreproachable taste...This is, of course, all in re: choosing clothes, not getting dressed. Poor boy can barely tie his own neckwear, let alone, I don't know, iron.

I am now pining for a world where this kind of clothing had anything whatsoever to do with my life.

I wouldn't trust Bertie to dress a chicken, but given that his wardrobe is governed entirely by Jeeves - yes. :)

Hmmm very tempted to drop by the Fulham road and pop in. I wonder if a Jeeves equivalent would accost me if I started to admire a salmon tie? ;)

I've heard of them. Always thought that whoever named it must not watch the show, because we all know that Jeeves is actually the fashion expert. Perhaps they thought a store called "Jeeves, Inc." would sound like a butler costume shop or something.

That's even better than the Wooster paint I found at the hardware store!
