Hello, all! I've just been rewatching the series over the past few days, and it's got me seeking further gratification now I'm nearly done. I'm afraid I'm not much for writing fic these days, but I'd quite like to read anything you lovely chaps can recommend. I'm looking for something lighthearted, keeping in tone with the series, with ample amounts of fluff and joy; nothing dark or depressing or angst-ridden, thank you, though hardly Madeline Basset levels of cavity-inducing sweetness. I also like medium-length one-shots, as I've not quite the attention span for anything that consists of many chapters. The preferred pairing, of course, is Jeeves/Wooster, though if you've anything of Mrs. Rockmateller*/Duke of Chiswick lying around, that will also be appreciated.

(I do hope this isn't in bad form, but you see I'm rather new around here and looking about, it seems this isn't an entirely unheard of practice. And if I've tagged wrong or otherwised bunked something up, please tell me so I can correct it immediately.)

*I think that's her name, anyway.

edit: I also like a bit of silliness, if you've any of that hanging about wanting to be read.

I don't know, now that you ask, lol! I just thought of that a fish can marry a bird but where would they live thing and wanted to toss it out here. As I just told somebody else, I suck at metaphors.

Let's say Jeeves is trying to use words to convince Bertie that setting up Gussy and Kipper (human) wouldn't be a good idea. Some hot, hot sex and Jeeves will see Bertie (and our) side of things!

Oddly enough, I'm thinking Jeeves!fish would be a flounder. They are thin, lay on the floor of the ocean until an eye moves around the body (so Jeeves' is pre-eye migration stage). They see everything and blend into the background, jumping out at the last minute to save the day (eat, whatever)

Black fish, with dignified white spots.

Perfectly round is dignified, or ring them like cheetah spots?
Hey, I got a drawing of Jeeves and Bertie as Groucho and Harpo, if that means anything to you, by annoying someone on comments like this =)

Well, there is the upcoming Yuletide fic exchange, you could ask nicely;) I'm a shameless pimp, at least in cyberspace.

Here's some art for you, the fic is a WIP, but I just loved the images it presented.
