Bit of an odd one, someone's asked me to send them a copy of the podfic of 'Jeeves and the niece who isn't' but it was on my old laptop, which got nicked. I don't suppose anyone has a copy they could send back to me, have they?

Thanks for making badass podfic! I've got a bunch of podfic cued up on my ipod for my epic drive today and boy does it ever make the drive better.

I just wish I had the time to do more. Got a very yowly cat here, and the house is hardly ever empty. It's kind of hard to do these things when you know you can be overheard and that the loo might flush at any moment...

Ha! Understood. See, now I half want a podfic with a yowly cat interrupting and Jeeves impromptu explaining it away! (Really it's just because then if I were playing it on my computer, I know my cat would yowl back.) :)

Phew! It did work for me and I would have had no clue how to fix it. Glad it worked out!

Yeah, looks like the headphones got damp or *something*. Annoyingly the only thing that they won't play properly is *my voice*.

Don't take it personally - I hear headphones are catty like that. :P

I met a lot of borked equipment in my time, never heard *that* one before though... ah well. Excuse for new ones. Might buy a proper podcasting kit, with a pop-stopper the lot.

Oh, wait, oops. Sorry. I missed the "pod" part of the word "podfic." I do have and love the story, but don't have the podfic. *smacking forehead*

's OK appears that sunquistadora has it.
I'm amazed tbh that this is the first specific thing I've missed that was on that laptop, but thinking about it now, I lost about 6 months worth of notes and works in progress. Most of my stuff I back up to the house NAS, ficcage... no. Should sort out something there, really.
