's OK appears that sunquistadora has it. I'm amazed tbh that this is the first specific thing I've missed that was on that laptop, but thinking about it now, I lost about 6 months worth of notes and works in progress. Most of my stuff I back up to the house NAS, ficcage... no. Should sort out something there, really.
