Beta needed down the road.
Hi all.
I need someone whom I can occasionally send a chapter of a fic to for them to review. You don't have to be a writer to apply - someone who loves to read is all that's necessary! Read on if interested.
Now, I'm ok with grammar, spelling, Britishisms and all that sort of thing. I just sometimes get too close to the writing to get a sense of how it comes over, especially if it's a chapter I've struggled with.
So, what I need is someone who may be able to read through a chapter from time to time, and give me an honest, moderately detailed review, giving me their first impressions and their opinions about what works and what doesn't. It's not necessarily something I'll need with every chapter, so if you happen to be familiar with other chapters I've posted, that will help.
I need someone who can be honest, so I know what's what, but also friendly, so that I can stay motivated. Hopefully it'll be fun and interesting for both of us.
My chapters range from 1500 to 4500 words, roughly. A bit varied, sorry. It's usually the longer ones I need help with, though.
Are there any lovely people whom I can contact about this? If you think you might be interested, please let me know.
I promise I won't hold you to anything if it turns out that you're too busy when I ask you to look over a chapter - it's okay to say 'yes' now and 'no' later. I know it's often hard to drop everything to review a fic. I just want to get an idea of whom I might approach.
Feel free to contact me by leaving a comment, via private message, or by emailing eviepricex @ gmail dot com.
Many thanks.

I adore your series so afr, and I'd be happy to have a read through anything you wanted to send my way. I've never betaed before, but I'm a grammar-nazi, and have been reading slash for several years now (so I've got a pretty good idea of te quality of slash). I'd be more than happy to give you my opinions of anything you sent me, and I promise to be nice. :D
