illustrations

I'm an illustrations whore. I love the old line drawings, like in the Holmes books, and I'm madly in love with the fact that "Mike" has them, too. This, I think, is probably the best picture of Psmith - the angle of his head so you can see the narrow shape of his face, and you can just barely see the monocle in the other eye, and he's got the papers there under his elbow. :) edited to add: What age is he supposed to be? Given that Mike started school a year late, Psmith might actually be a year younger, so maybe 16 or 17... pushing 35. :)

*blushes* Yes, there is. That would be me. I totally don't do him justice. It's very hard to write Mike without the aid of narration. But our girl here is a wonderful Psmith!

Oh, hush.

And don't worry, Psmith knows what he's thinking.

Or at least thinks he does. Which, in Psmith's world, is pretty much the same thing.

I think your Mike is adorable! You're right, it is really hard to write Mike without narration -- he's so Stoic -- but you do a really good job.
