I'm sorry if this is inappropriate, but...

Why the hell have the J&W DVDs been discontinued in Britain? I only have series 3, and half of that's broken! I probably won't be able to exchange it for a copy that doesn't screw up halfway through episode 5, now.

Not. Happy. And the way I'm currently feeling, this is the end of the world.

Because Granada were gearing up to re-release all four series in one big DVD boxset. The link's in one of the previous posts, but the release date is 18th July if I remember right, and the going price for the whole thing is £37.50 (on amazon.co.uk), or something like that =)

Okay, thanks. The way the HMV man made it sound, they weren't ever going to release it ever again. :-)

Sorry about the whiny tone of this post. About a second after I posted it I was hit with one of those real suicide-causing migraines, which had really been building up all day. So, yay for incoherent migraine-posts. :-)

LOL, ah, you should have seen me when I tried to buy them and found the whole lot had been discontinued. Glum doesn't even come close to describing my mood. And when I learnt they were being re-released, I think my sister heard my squeal of joy from the top floor, LOL!
