Yes, I have a very clear recollection of these - I adored Dennis Price as Jeeves and have a nasty tendency to sing the song at odd moments, too. You may be interested to learn that Ian Carmichael is still, at 87, turning in the occasional performance as Bertie Wooster on radio and in audio books. IMHO he is a national treasure, one of the last of the great generation of post-war comic actors.

Because I had such fond memories of that show I was very reluctant to entertain the Fry-and-Laurie interpretation at first, but soon came to the conclusion that they were ideal casting. And, thank heavens, there is no danger of any over-zealous production company throwing away the original tapes. We have at last learned to value the artefacts of popular culture!
