Hugh Laurie Charity Drive
Thanks to the mods for allowing me to post about our little fan project in the community.
Inspired by the stellar success of the![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
rsl_bday_drive a handful of fans have gathered together to initiate the hl_bday_drive - a charity drive to join the forces of different communities and fandoms around the actor Hugh Laurie for a good cause.
In raising money for Save the Children, we want to give the fans and ourselves the opportunity to celebrate Hugh Laurie´s 50th birthday on 11th June, 2009.
You can knit, record a video of you, make a fanvid, write a fanfic, draw pictures, make other graphics (to promote the drive or for others to put on their cafepress shirts), record a podfic, code a webpage or journal layout, create a fanmix, play a song on your guitar and offer it as a mp3. ANYTHING you can think of that other people would donate for. But please note, that this is not an auction and we won´t interfere or control what you and the donor agree upon. You make the rules.
