That Jeeves clock again, yes

I woke up this morning and was informed that my father had got me a new alarm clock ^^  (www.voco.uk.com/ if somebody doesn't know what I'm talking about) I once mentioned that there's something as silly as this and he, being total sweetheart, made his way to internet and ordered it. Unfortunately it's the madam one but I think I can cope with it. Tomorrow will be the day it's going to wake me up for the very first time.

But, I really had something to say instead of informing you of this recent change. Like, has anyone else experiences with it? If it suddenly goes silent, how have your experiences been, especially if one doesn't live in UK? Does it eat batteries and  need I to recharge the batteries once in a week? Etc, etc, etc. Not that kind of stuff what the firm says about their products but things that make you regret that you bought it in the first place.

So this message wouldn't be totally in vain, I can inform to everybody who is thinking of buying it and wondering what kind of voice it keeps when it's not talking, that it keeps quite comfortable tick-tack sound. Not really loud but one can hear it.

But now I wish you good night (eep 10 hours and it'll wake me up)

I recieved one for this holiday as well and have used it for the last few days. I haven't had an issue as of yet, but really do adore the thing. I was curious about the battery issue as well, but from what I've heard, there haven't been too many issues beyond normal wear-and-tear.

It seems to work with two (at least it began to tick after two), but I put in three just in case. I've had a few specialty clocks that took three batteries though.

I haven't changed the batteries in mine in a year and a half. The only weird thing is that mine tends to go off again 45 minutes after I hit the off button, although it only beeps once after he talks. Oh, and it doesn't have am and pm settings, so it'll go off every time it hits 8 o'clock or whenever it's set for, morning and night.

I've enjoyed it, though. ;)
