Part One! :D

Dr. Jeeves walked down the hallway, his white lab coat flowing out after him, at the nearly-silent tune of his quick and firm steps. He was due in a meeting in ten minutes. As one member of a team of 10 psychologists working in Middlesex Lunatic Asylum, he had to be prompt. It was his first day on the job, and he did not intend to be late.

He sat straight in a white room, on a wooden chair and looked at the clock ticking on the wall. Five minutes to spare. He almost smiled.

He waited calmly until the other 9 psychologists and the Superintendent finally arrived. The Superintendent, the last, would have received a stern upraised eyebrow had Jeeves been less conscious of rank.

"Well gentlemen," he puffed as he mopped his red portly brow, "I'm sure you all know why we're here."

A younger, scrawny young man piped up enthusiastically "To determine if co-habitation among the non-violently insane is a feasible method of rehabilitation and cure sir!" There's one in every group.

The rotund man put down his handkerchief in a somewhat perplexed manner. "Err...quite right son. Quite right." He cheered up almost immediately and began briskly, rubbing his hands, " I suppose you'll want to meet your new assignment. Now you'll be living on-site with them, in separate rooms of course, just in case anything...err...unforeseen happens. Not that it will," he continued hastily, "but just in case you see. Now, my assistant shall hand you a card with the name and room of your new patients."

A quiet man that almost no one had perceived solemnly passed out small white cards to all the man present. It is interesting to note, that they all had the same quiet bearing that comes with years of having worked with volatile people, and having to be a calming influence. Except for the enthusiastic one, but he can be excused due to inexperience. There's always one in every group after all.

Dr. Jeeves idly wondered what would have happened if these peoples rich relatives hadn't paid top dollar for them to be here. They'd probably be in a dark, cold cell. he mused as he stared at the small name printed in black ink. Bertie Wooster, Room 6a

You can tell Dr. Jeeves I'm hugging his patient, not squashing him. There is a difference. And the dragons had better play nice, every armour has a soft spot..

Seriously though, more?

One spelling nitpick: 'baring' should be 'bearing'.

Other than that...ASYLUMS YES YESYES HAHAHAHA.

Dark twisted yumyumyum...I hope my medical fetish gets poked with this (I have no idea what pokes that scary nurse lady, it's never predictable. Except for the asylums part).

I absolutely love the idea of Bertie in an asyum. It makes me go to a happy place inside. Which probably doesn't say anything good about ME, but that's okay.

Have you read that fic where Sir Roderick actually does stick Bertie into an asylum? If you haven't, I could provide the link. It's a personal favorite of mine, naturally.
