for a moment I felt a little like Bertie
I bought a shirt yesterday, a pretty thing I fell in love with, adorned with earthtone paisleys. When I showed it to
eor his face underwent an indescribable transformation - shock and awe, perhaps? I started giggling uncontrollably, because he looked as though he was about to say, "That shirt would not become you."
Finally he fought back the horror and found the kindest thing he could have said: "That looks like something Dharma would wear." (Of "Dharma and Greg" - very funny show, and of course he adores Dharma because she's lovely and sweet, but also I often get the feeling he thinks I'm kind of like Dharma because I was raised by hippies.)
