It is an evil thing that the devil invented. Its where someone plays a series of chords (at the moment its two) and you tell what the chord is (I or IV or V), and then you have to noteate the chord as it was played. For some reason its really kickin' my butt.

No. I tried learning the flute when I was about 8 or 9, but my arms were too short. Literally. When I was 12 and 13, I played drums for a while, but I'd really love to learn the saxophone. How long have you been playing the violin?

I've been playing for about 9 years now. I locw the sound of a sax. I'd like to learn how to play it as well.

My sister's been playing the flute for over ten years now. She started when I was trying and her arms were longer. She hasn't played much recently because she had to get braces on her teeth. They're gone now, but I don't know if she's going to try to resume playing. I like the sound of the sax, too. I can't afford to rent one or take lessons, but I'd dearly love to.

*giggle* I'd recommend learning the piano for sure. It's extremely versatile as an instrument.

I took lessons for a little bit, but we couldn't afford to keep paying for them. I really liked the piano teacher, too.

Do you have a piano or keyboard at home? If you do it you might wanna pick up an adult piano book that teaches you without a teacher. That's what we're learning from, and its at our own pace.

We did have a keyboard, but I can't remember if we still do or not. I struggle with reading the music.

That's perfectly alright, everyone does when they first start out. If you get a beginning piano book, it will help with that. And as a plus you can go as fast or as slow as you need. As long as you enjoy it, that's all that matters.

Oh, god, that scene. *shivers* I love it, but in both the TV series and the book I'm always jumping up and down in my seat going, "Oh crap, Bertie, you are in so much trouble! Did you see how his face just...smoothed over? OMG, stop twitting him about 'very good, sir'ing you! You're questioning the very foundations of your relationship!"

That bicycle ride is definitely one of the harsher punishments Jeeves inflicts. Guess why. Bertie's just lucky he didn't have to do it naked.

It all has to do with Bertie trying to assert his dominance over Jeeves, so Jeeves punishes him in an appropriate way and Bertie gives up the "bone of contention", as it were. *amused*
