Trunk and Disorderly - I think it's complete and read by the author!

And I'm kind of excited about this, can you tell??

I think I probably posted a link to an excerpt from this story, just the beginning of it, here some time ago, but the current drabble challenge made Eor and me start talking about this story and arguing as to whether the Jeeves-character (Alison Feng) was a robot or not, and we had to go look it up to settle the argument, and that was why we found out that NOW it appears to be posted complete as an audio book read by (as far as I can tell) Stross. :)

Robots are referred to as 'clankies' and people of flesh are 'squishies,' and the Wooster-character (Ralph, but I can't pick out his last name at the moment) seems to refer to Feng as a squishie. He has upper-class twit friends who are clankies, one being reminiscent of a Dalek... uh, I should not give you spoilers if you haven't read this, yet.

At any rate, a few years ago I wrote Stross and begged him to make this available because I thought you guys would love it, and I can't pretend that I think that has anything to do with it being up, but the fact it is makes me very happy, and now I'm going to go download it onto my mp3 player. :)

Do they have it online in print or something? I tend to read way more often than listen to audiobooks.

Ah yes, I thought that sounded familiar. I've read the opening part that you linked to a year or two ago. Thanks. :D
