It's even more ironic because 50 Shades of Grey started as a Twilight fanfic on the internet (not a very good one, obviously) and the author just changed their names so she could publish it!

And now because it's published it's somehow "legitimate" while (good) smutty fanfic is still not? Bwuuuuh??
