I AM sorry, but did you bung this straight from the hidden lock-up of Wodehouse canon that has never seen the light of day? Did you have a séance and channel the spirit of Mr. W straight into your pen? Because, and I'll ask you to forgive me again, I cannot help believing the old fruit didn't write this himself!
