Colour Footage!

Somebody on my f-list posted this link in the context of Doctor Who, but I thought ya'll Indeed Sirers would find it interesting too. It's a film (in colour!) of London in the 1920's. And the breakaway panels are full of bad puns. Corking stuff.

Very interesting. (And the puppy at the end!) Thanks for sharing this.

I have to say, I find it very disconcerting to watch a film in total silence.

That was wonderful! And very interesting!

Did it seem to anyone else that there were no lanes for motor traffic? It struck me in particular in the scene with the policeman directing traffic--all the vehicles were sort of crowded up behind him any-which-way.

Really nifty, thanks for sharing!!

awww. I've seen another film from this series, I think, but not this one. I love it!

Oooh, stunning! I love this sort of thing so much. Since we're looking at really early color footage, I just have to share this -- leaves me misty-eyed every time I watch it:

This was absolutely smashing! Thank you for sharing!

I am quite amused to see that London really hasn't changed all that much in almost a century. :)
