Yeah, Jeevesian Wrath is not a thing we see nearly often enough in this fandom. Beneath that stuffed frog exterior beats the heart of a romantic, and it had to be pretty traumatizing for him to see Spode actually trying to kill Bertie. Anybody would snap at that sort of provocation. Jeeves is fortunate enough to have the skills and intelligence to be able to do something about it. That two day vigil he spent at Bertie's bedside before Bertie recognized him again had to have been awful, but I'm sure he was chuffed that he was the one Bertie recognized first. I think anyone would have been overcome at the end there. Even a chap like Jeeves is capable of shedding a tear now and then, under the right circs.
