If the uptake on the kink meme's as small as it sounds, couldn't you do what charie_caphine suggests, but do, say, a weekly round-up of new fics? Like a post of synopses and links? That way, the anons who are writing on the meme could stay completely anon. Of course, there'd need to be some way to opt in/out from such a thing, but it seems like less trouble than creating a brand new community.

(I have a horrible feeling this reads like 'NO! No new communites! Ever!' and I really don't mean it like that at all. I'd wholeheartedly support (meaning, lurk like mad) such a community, it just seems like a lot of effort on your part.)
