Jeeves in the Country

I'm in the process of watching episode four of season two of Jeeves and Wooster. The episode is titled Jeeves In The Country. During a certain talk, which I will put under a cut in case it counts as spoilers, it struck me that it sounded like they could be covertly talking about their own relationship. XD Here it is!

B: He's potty about her!
J: I am, of course, aware that his lordship is experiencing a sentiment deeper and warmer than that of ordinary friendship for the young lady, sir.
B: Yes, and she has specifically confessed herself to being dippy about him. But she's upset, the poor fish. She detects the lovelight in his eyes. She's all for it. What worries her is he doesn't do anything about it.
J: A not uncommon dilemma, sir.
B: What's it all about, Jeeves? I mean, he loves her, she loves him, so what's the snag?
J: His lordship is a gentleman of scruple, sir. He feels that, being of straightened means himself, he has not the right to propose to a young lady as wealthy as Miss Stoker.

They could be talking about themselves! XD Here is my slightly tweaked version.

Oh my GOSH! I watched that just yesterday and I thought the same thing!!! And plus, when Bertie is trying to get out of the meal Brinkley is making him, he weaves a sad tale about a sick uncle who needs his attention. Brinkley asks him which uncle is sick, and Bertie quickly replies...wait for it..."Reginald"!!! FREUDIAN SLIP, PEOPLE!!! :) Jeeves was on his mind, oh yes he was. Thanks for reminding me! *hug* I love it here. You're all wonderful.
