CORRUPTED! XD
I just watched the first episode of the first season of Jeeves and Wooster. I'd seen two episodes from another season, don't know which. One was about a Cow Creamer, the other was titled A Plan For Gussie. Anyway, that was before I found this community.
I just thought you all might like to know that you've completely and utterly corrupted me. XD When Aunt Agatha was describing the type of wife Bertie needed, I thought to myself, "Hm, that sounds rather like Jeeves..." Plus I kept grinning like the Cheshire Cat during various portions of the episode when I saw bits that could be construed as Jeeves/Wooster.
I hope you all feel very proud! XD

*oops*
Ummm.. did I say that out loud? *G*
(say... is that "Wilson" in your icon?)

And yes, that -is- Dr James Wilson from House M.D. In actor form. That icon is my pride and joy. :P I made it myself and it's the favorite child.

I can't even stop grinning anymore whenever someone refers to Jeeves as "your man, Jeeves".
My favourite is still Jeeves in the Country, though. The end just leaves me gibbering. Gibbering and talking quite animatedly to the television set.
Plum has stolen my sanity.

I can't believe how much subtext I can see between Jeeves and Bertie. It's amazing! XD

I've been rewatching the second season over the past few days, squeeing like mad the entire while.

Oh yes. The exact same thought ran through my head when Aunt Agatha ran off the critera for Bertie's perfect mate.
'Yep, that just about describes Jeeves to a T', LOL!

I keep squeeing while I watch. XD I got into Hugh through House, Jeeves and Wooster through Hugh, Stephen Fry through J&W, and then was happy to find a bazillion things with them in it. XD It's hard for me to connect House and Bertie as the same actor, though.

You, my dear, have corrupted me more than anyone else here. ;P But guh, it's a lovely, lovely corruption. I give a bajillion special thanks to you for that!

Their eyes are especially pretty. *stare*
I just realized that it's Sunday night. The weekend was seriously stolen by all the Hugh and Stephen stuff I watched. Just... wooshed away.

*snickers to self*
Haha, H/S can really be an evil weekend thief. One must watch out, for it will seize every chance to take your time!

I really wish I could find something with Robert Sean Leonard in it though. He really interests me as well.
I don't remember if I've mentioned it, but I'm an obsessive commentor. Sorry. XD

Had to adjust for five minutes before I could wrap my head around it. And the thing is that I can't imagine either of them being played by anybody else now. Hee, it amuses me slightly that Stephen should so perfectly embody, as Tilly said, "the poster boy of decadence" AND "a man who would use every means short of physical violence to stop his employer from going out in purple socks."
^_^ Of course this just goes to show just how brilliant they are as actors and deserve more praise heaped on them. More, I say! Moremoremore! Whee!
(Guh, Wilde, I need to watch that movie again. Soon.)
