As to the acting part, yes, my Bertie was starting to get high-pitched whenever I tried to make him posher, but we'll see what I can do about that with better kit, and yes, my Jeeves speaks more slowly and with a lot less animation than Bertie does, so we'll see what I can do. I'm a bit worried now that talking about it too much I've made people expect miracles of me, as though I'm a pro actor or something but I've very rarely been in front of the mic and haven't been on a stage (unless doing setup/teardown) for about 15 years... Giving direction is pretty easy, but putting it into practice is a lot harder than the pros make it seem.

Thinking about the kit side of things, I'm a bit wary of buying anything without trying it, but there's got to be a RicherSounds or something round here...
