I wasn't planning on posting anything again quite so soon, but I had a couple of things ready, and there's not much point in waiting. So here you go. As always, click to enlarge.

Oh, and sorry I keep forgetting to mention whether stuff is worksafe or not. The following probably is; I'd give it a PG rating.

The funny looks would be worth it if I could pull that cover off of my shelf, stare gleefully at the accidental rockstar pose, and read the whole imaging wee little Jeeves wishing for a sledgehammer :D

If your hands are the models, I would love to read your palms sometime. Aside from the fact that we will probably never meet face-to-face. Technical detail! And now I'm imagining you twisting your hands around someone's neck--"Wait, wait, I've almost got it--lean closer! I can't curl my fingers right!" (It might be time to cut back on the caffeine.)

...there's more coming? Soon? OH GOD, it's like Christmas + Birthday + all eight days of Hanukkah + a pile of chocolate chip cookies, but with more slashing and well-drawn hands.

Alright, alright, shutting up now...>.<;;

Fairly accurate, even for strangers, although oddly enough I can't exactly say how I do it. It's not like reading people and then pretending that I'm finding the information in their hands, and it's not about making general statements and hoping they mostly apply. A lot of it is in how the mounds and lines and fingers relate to each other, but there are just some things I sort of...know from touching and looking at the hands in general rather than intimately analyzing the lines. That sounds a bit like nonsense, doesn't it? I can't really explain it any better than that, although I'm told it's disturbingly on target a lot of the time.

Honestly, I don't know if everyone can. I personally think so--the act of learning something like tarot or palm reading opens up the natural perceptive abilities of a person, if that doesn't sound too new-agey, but I've never tried to figure out if this is true. I just picked up a book on it because I'd always thought it was neat. I was expecting it just to be a cool parlor trick, reading a couple of lines for friends and having a laugh about it. Imagine my surprise when it turned into this strangely perceptive thing. The other weird thing is that it's exhausting--two readings in an hour and I get silly, tired, have a hard time focusing and can't do any more until I've had a rest and some carbohydrates. This isn't usually a problem, except that one accurate reading usually means that everyone in the room wants their turn too, and you don't want to turn them down because they're so excited over it.
