Hi, I just wanted to tell you briefly about something that happened to me this Saturday :) My grandparents had their 50th anniversary of their wedding and you can imagine this was very important event so the whole wide family came together to celebrate this - there were more then twenty of us and everyone was dressed very formal, you know, suits and dresses and trying not to embarrass someone... Well, I just wanted to tell you this: when we were sitting in the restaurant, eating tons of delicious food (I was pretty sick the next day, because I underestimated my roast beef), my uncle was sitting against me and because the food was so fantastic it took me almost 15 minutes to realize, that he was wearing a bright purple tie with red and blue flowers. And I remembered Jeeves saying: "It´s just Mr. Little´s tie, sir. It has little horseshoes on it." And I thought: well, if Jeeves can´t stand horseshoes, how would he react if he saw my uncle´s tie? He would probably try to kill himself with the first object he would find. Thinking about this I was laughing quietly into my roast beef, hopefully no one has noticed. And well, that´s that. Just wanted to share my tie amusement.

Sep. 8th, 2008 10:02 pmI had the strangest dream the other night. It had to do with a Jeeves and Wooster crossover with Red Dwarf in a Western setting. Seems Bertie's father was not dead, after all, but had run off to Texas to start a longhorn ranch - Bertie's father was played by Rowan Atkinson. (edited to try to sort out this confusing sentance Subplot was Lister wooing - for Rimmer - a woman who was a ranch hand. Everyone else saw her as incredibly homely, but her appearance was gorgeous for them.) I suspect I laughed myself awake. Wish I could remember more details!
